Terms of Use & License

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Zynx governing your use of the Zynx app. By downloading or using Zynx, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Zynx on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use Zynx.
3. Subscriptions (Zynx Pro)
Zynx is free to download and use with core features. “Zynx Pro” is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks additional features such as unlimited accounts, assets, and recurring rules, Face ID app lock, backup export, advanced search, and native asset background removal.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal charge. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your device's Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Pricing. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before you purchase and may vary by region. Prices may change; any change will apply to future billing periods and, where required, with prior notice and your consent.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy; we cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except as permitted by law; use the app for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with or circumvent the app's security or licensing features.
5. Not financial advice
Zynx is a personal record-keeping and tracking tool. It is not a bank, broker, lender, tax advisor, or financial advisor, and it does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Asset values, budgets, forecasts, and totals are based on the information you enter and are provided for your own organisational purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for any financial decisions you make.
6. Your data & backups
Zynx stores your data locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or if the app is deleted, data that has not been exported as a backup may be permanently lost. We are not liable for any loss of data. 7. Intellectual property
Zynx, including its software, design, name, and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the app, not any ownership rights. The data you enter remains yours.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Zynx. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with them. You may end it at any time by deleting the app. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 7–9) will survive.
11. Apple App Store terms
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. In case of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Your use of the app must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Standard EULA referenced in Section 1.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country or state of residence to the extent required by applicable consumer-protection law; otherwise, by the laws applicable at the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have.
